Well Ash, I I wanted to say uh cracking qualifying. What um what an incredible start to the new qualifying format uh and the and the opening race uh here at uh Donnington. Yeah.

I think Alan's Gales got what he wants, hasn't he? Let's be honest. Oh what a disaster, yeah. So I mean it could have, should uh been better. But yeah, I mean qualifying we I felt like it was a missed opportunity to actually go for pole for the qualifying race. Um and then yeah, obviously it was all quite fiery at the start. I was happy to get involved and we were looking looking okay. Obviously, got into the lead at one point, um, then dropped back to third and then yeah, just saw an opportunity down the start line. And I think Tom was so focused on Dan to his left that he left actually a full car whip to his right. So I filled it, he moved across, I found the grass. So yeah, I mean, there's only so much I can kind of do once I'm on the grass. I've just got it actually took camo with me. Uh he was a complete innocent party in it.

Um yeah, and we've kind of upset two two of our cars, so it's not ideal, but but you were saying you were you were very much in the mix in that uh that opening uh sort of session, and you you'd got your eye in, I think, is the best way of describing it.

Yeah, I mean I'm I'm happy where we are with the car. Um pace-wise, it seems okay. Just a bit bit disheartening initially because it's like qualifying pace looks so strong. Missed an opportunity there, and then for it to end up in the gravel at turn one wasn't ideal at the end of essentially at the start of lap two. So yeah, it is what it is, but we're on to tomorrow. Tomorrow's just got a little bit more difficult as the rules now play, so starting Stone Cold last. But I like a little challenge.

Yeah, it is, and I we laugh and we joke, but we've got uh I actually I'm gonna hold that. I'm gonna hold that back, but maybe we can use it a bit later in the year. But yeah, I mean we've got our own little thing in internally that this normally actually ends up being a good time for us.
