Well Tom, congratulations. Good way to start uh the weekend's uh race well, racing as in second race three and four or whatever we're calling them now at Grand Satch with a podium. Pleased with that? On a medium tire, I think so.

Um yeah, the obviously s soft soft tyres fairly strong around here, and against the medium tire we knew there was an offset. So we had to use the offset of the tire with the advantage of the boost. So take the hit of the tire but use the advantage of the boost and kind of hope to negate that that uh that delta as such. Which kind of worked. Um it was sketchy and horrible at the start of the race with the rain coming down, and obviously, in those conditions, incredibly hard to switch the median tire on when it's like that. So um yeah, it went well. We obviously knew the race would kind of come back to us towards the end if it if we could get going, as long as we didn't take too much out of it at the start. So, yeah, it worked for us. Um good place to start, slightly less boost, soft tire for the next race. So we'll see what we got.

You were biding your time and then made your move on Dan Kamish to uh to take the place. I mean, how much thinking about that were you doing for how long?

You just have to look where the where the where the sort of the good good and bad of the car is. Um there were some areas that Dan was strong with a soft tire, traction off, places like that, but other places are always stronger. So you just had to sort of see where was good and bad, not leave yourself vulnerable to an attack back and um sort of just play a bit of a game of chess.

Uh what were the conditions like out there?

It looked greasy to start with, but did it right dry up a little bit? You'd have been on a wet tire at the start of that race. Um it obviously then came good to us towards the end. So, yeah, but uh a bit of give and take all the way through that. And important to get the points in the bag. Yeah, obviously, we've we've not had a very good start to this season in the slightest, with uh a load of drama obviously at Donnington and um getting taken out in yesterday's race, and we should have won it. Um just lots of lots of tricky starts of this season, so we can do it's time to build the points up now. Maybe better to get those frustrations out of the way early drawers. Yeah, you never like having them at any stage throughout the year. You know, we've had a good run of it over the last couple of years with not actually having too much drama, so maybe just not used to it. Really good drive, Tom.
