Nick, where do I start? Huge congratulations to Jack Sears win. The biggest cheer of the whole day when you climbed out of the car here in Park Ferney, what does it mean to you?

SPEAKER_01

Oh it means it means the world Steve, honestly. I can't believe it. I wasn't expecting it. I've really developed over this weekend, got a lot faster than I was last year and tried to make sure I was mentally calm. You know, I I struggle mentally a lot of the time within my racing. And I said coming into this year, obviously being with Accelerate, it's a very exposing team in terms of pace because everyone's so fast in the team. And I said to myself, if I can get a trophy at some point, obviously it won't be an independent, so that was another trophy I couldn't win. So it had to be the Jack Sears, and today's the day, and it's incredible.

SPEAKER_00

We'd spoken at the beginning of the season about being consistent. You found that extra couple of seconds that you said on previous years in this car, and the consistency's paid off because that's the Jack Sears trophy now, and nobody can take that away from you.

SPEAKER_01

No, I know. I just I just want a trophy, I just wanted a trophy, and I I've been keeping a special place for it at home. Um, and uh yeah, I mean it's it's credit to to all my partners, all my sponsors for getting me here in the first place, and then Accelerate and the amazing team that they are, um, the the teammates that I have. I'm just trying to learn and can continue developing, and I wasn't expecting to come away with a trophy at the end of round three, so we've got a long way to go, and I'm just so so proud of myself. I don't really care what happens after this.

SPEAKER_00

No, absolutely. I think it's huge testimony to you and your attitude, Nick, but also the inspiration that you provide to so many of your fans.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I mean uh at the end of the day, I'm just trying to live my life. Um, I never wanted to be a role model, I just wanted to drive cars, I worked hard to do that, and if I can inspire people by what I do at the same time and help them and guide them and support them and give them hope, um then that's my purpose, that's why I'm here. And so the trophy today is for everyone, the whole disability community. Um, hopefully they're listening to it and hopefully you know they realize that it doesn't matter who you are, what you do, what you're about, you're always a winner, it doesn't matter where you finish. Um, and uh I've kept going with that, and today I get rewarded.

SPEAKER_00

And today you're noted for your talent as a racing driver, and deservedly so.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, um now I can uh now I can know that I also can win trophies just like my bigger brother.

SPEAKER_00

Absolutely. Real huge congratulations, so pleased for you, Nick. Well done.
