Yes, yes it was, and it's as close as we've been in in ages really to having like that sort of what feels like some parity with it and and been able to um actually race um sort of wheel to wheel with Tom and see where we're strong, where we're not so strong. I I thought we were doing a great job up until about half when the front left tire um sort of said over the radio, it's screaming at me like I could tell I was hurting it, and it just started to give up and give up and give up. But um we were doing a very good job between us. I think we got his heads down, I think we worked together towards the end. He made a bit of a half move. I thought in two minds about fighting it, but I also knew at that point he had two laps over a boost, so it's like I've got to do this for two. I've got basically if I if I pull the hand brake here and start dicking about, De Leon's not that far behind. Um, and I you know sometimes you've got to realise that if this is a mega result, you know, for what is a couple of points, and uh you know it's another podium, um, which the team richly deserves. So I think we made the right call, but the fact is we're on the same piece of track for the entirety of the race. Um I think one more lap would have been fun. Um he it looked or it felt like our car actually as the rain fell, that I just had a little bit more really. I felt I thought we were I thought we were in a good place. Um of course it's tough, incredibly tough. You wouldn't want it for anyone, but it's you could see that he was he was he was um he didn't look as he didn't look comfortable. I think I think we you know it would have been close, but then obviously the Leon's also coming, so you know maybe it came just at just at the right time. But um, but yeah, it just shows how the ebb and flow of the car setups, you know, what have you actually got it set at? You know, it it it kind of peaks and troughs of of where it's strong. Um I think sometimes when you got two cars so you can go in match, you can really start, you can really see it uh as the race unfolds. So yeah, it was a good good race to finish third on hard is an amazing result, and um we're having a very strong weekend, two podiums and a and a win yesterday. So um what happens in the last one now it happens, but I mean we were got a good opportunity. I hope I hope that we get a chance to run our softs again and finish the day off, that'd be really nice, but you just never know, do you?

No, uh we've already spoken this season about the need not necessarily to be on the top step of the podium all the time, but to be on the podium and to to be bagging those points, and that now feels like that's coming towards you a little bit.

Yeah, I think I think it's taken it's taken a real long time to get our season underway. I don't know why that is. I think we've you know, I think it started on the back foot, you know. I think op you know, there's no doubt in my mind that I think if had we not had that issue at at Open or at Donington in that qualifying race, you know, with with Ash, I think I think I would have won that race. Um, you know, with Ash obviously not in it, um and Ingram getting disqualified, that was mine to win. Um and I think that's fair to say, I think even Robo had admitted that because obviously it was sort of a new a new car, and um I think we would have overhauled it over the course of the race, but um we never got to find out, and then I would have started on pole the day after, and my day would have been slightly different. Um and you look at sort of brands not quite quick enough but little mistakes or just getting caught up in other people's accidents, you know. I got sort of tagged by Rainford that punctured the tire, and you just think that's just classic touring car stuff, give away some points here and there. You know, I could be 30 points further up, don't get me wrong, so could Tom Ingram. The only one of us that's really sort of maximising a result in Ash, and it shows in the chat in the results, but I don't think he's as far ahead as what it looks. I think if uh you know if he if it if it swings any which way which touring cars can and he gets on a a bit of a bad roll uh with some results, Ash, you know, I think with me and Tom can have an up swinging some of ours, I think we can get closer. Um you know, I think me and Tom are within ten or eleven points now, so um it is it is close behind. Um we just got to um yeah, hopefully the second half of the season, I hope we can kick on a little bit.
