Ricky, huge congratulations.
SPEAKER_00That's your fifth podium of uh the season. It's all coming together, isn't it? I wish it was, unfortunately. It's um it was a bit of a bit of a bit of sweet on the um on the inlap then because I've only got one more race to go if we can get to it. And I come on the radio and sister guys that it's been an absolute privilege and a pleasure to drive for um for virtue and accelerate. And we've got some more partners on board, but I just really hope that we can bring in the sponsorship because it'd be such a shame. I don't know where I am in the championship, um, but look, we're we're in the mix, we're there with theirabouts, and every weekend I improve. So previously, I want to obviously do everything I can to stay in the seat, but at the moment it's not not looking good, unfortunately.
SPEAKER_01Well, let's hope that that performance encourages people to support you because that was a cracking drive. Just talk me through that third race.
SPEAKER_00It was relatively um sensible, it wasn't really too much sort of going on. I've had two really punchy races or three because we had the quality race, punchy races where I started in Manchester, ended up on the pla on the on the uh second step. So look, we've had a really difficult day. Um but again I'm walking away saying I've had a difficult day and I've got another trophy in my hand, so I just genuinely really appreciate the opportunity, and I just don't want it to stop. And it's pretty sad really that it's it's gonna end, and I just hope that we can do everything we can to stay in the seat.
SPEAKER_01It's been a weekend where again we've talked about tire choices and the the delta between the the hard and the soft tire here and the variable conditions again, it's raining as we speak.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I opted for hard tire in race one, obviously starting back in Manchester, and um it was probably the right decision, I think. I had obviously championship boosts of P5 at the championships that made it quite difficult. But look, we're gonna go to hopefully Fruxton uh with one more race, and I just really hope that with a bit more boost um and a better job on Saturday I can uh bring in some more podiums again. Absolutely. Let's put a shout out there, Ricky.
SPEAKER_01If there's anybody out there who would like to help you continue to be on the podium, how do they get in touch? What do they do?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, literally anything that we can do. So obviously um I have social media, which is probably the best way to do it, but I'll give my phone number now as well. But don't know if that's the right thing to do. But yeah, if anyone can just get in contact with me, um just Ricky at rcollard.com. Um and if there's anything that we can do, um, no matter how big or how small, it'd be great to have people on board just to keep going at least. Absolutely. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Another great performance. Well done, Ricky. Thank you very much.
