It did seem to be fairly fast. Um everyone was doing fast driving. Um so yes, happy, please, good. We started second, we finished second.

Um championship has thrown in another variable this weekend with the medium tire for for qualifying, uh, which then meant I guess a setup change to go to the hard tire for for racing. I mean that's that's just another variable that's uh spiced things up, isn't it?

Seems a little unnecessary, doesn't it? Um yeah, I don't yeah, I yeah. I I I don't really I didn't really see what the need was, but um it was nice to qualify on the medium tire.

Um yeah, all happy. Track temperature really high uh here, like 47 degrees or something, which obviously has an impact on the tires. Towards the end of those extended or 14 laps, you looked like you were closing the gap on Josh.

Uh yes and no, I think Josh would obviously uh aware towards the end of the race that um you know we'd we'd done a we've done a lot of fast laps at that point, and I think we're all starting to struggle quite significantly on tyres. Um I I wasn't in the business of trying to throw it in the hedge, nor was nor with any of the others. But obviously, with Ash closing up quite fast from behind, I had to have a sort of an element of um not make a mistake. I ended up making one coming up to the chicane here and snatched the right rear and dragged it for ages, which um which he unfortunately just knocked me back about half a second. But I was happy to let Ash close the gap if I'm honest. I wasn't too fussed about trying to um trying to get anything. I knew Ash was obviously going to be fairly keen to get something. Um I was happy for him to let to just close the gap in and make sure we didn't make any mistakes.

Yeah, we do. Uh we've obviously hemorrhaged too many points at the start of the year against Ash. So yeah, 48 or whatever the whatever the gap is, it's a significant amount that we've need to try and uh we need to try and overturn. So yeah, full uh full steam ahead, full attack, and we'll we'll see what we can get out of it out of the weekend. Nice drive, Tom. Just do thanks. Thank you.
