Yeah, we tried to have quite a few different things on the front end of the car coming into coming to Nock Hill. We um had a bit of an engineering meeting over Skype, myself, Dexter, Mikey, our three engineers, and we just thought of some different things to try, and uh you know it's um it's slow speed and traction, the car has been hurting us, so we thought there were some things we could try to. Well it wasn't a guaranteed fix, but um the position we're in, you know, it's uh a new car isn't a project you come into to try and take over the world year one, it's you have to look further ahead. So we decided to try some things. Um well aware it might work, well aware we might need some more fine-tuning, and it felt good. I mean there's still um a little bits to tweak, but um yeah, a good start. But it was all from um some of the hard work done away from the track that um came together quite nicely.

Absolutely, it's a bit breezy here as it normally is in the morning. We've got an indication, implication there might be a little bit of rain knocking about over the weekend that might shake things up a little bit.

I remember a couple of years ago watching on the the in-car feed, you close your eyes on the start line and you work every corner in your mind and and move your body, don't you? I mean you still do that, you know this circuit so well.

Uh yeah, something else that Paul O'Neill used to do. I'd have a bit of a stage where I was struggling a bit, um, and sometimes it just helps you kind of be in the riven from lap one as opposed to taking a couple laps to get into it, which could be the difference between kind of um not losing places at the start of a race, and it could be a difference between getting the most out of the new tire and qualifying. So it's just a little thing some people do. It's just I got caught doing it on ITV and got a slag drawing for it, so that's nice.

There's always a huge crowd here at uh Nock Hill, massive support for you as well. Does that generate an extra tenth in you when you when you go around here?

Yeah, I think track knowledge is what most of the time comes from, and I think it suits me. It's a track aggression is uh rewarding. You know, the really slow technical something but not my strongest point of driving. Um aggression, the hanging on and working the car, I think that's something that really plays into my strengths. So um yeah, I think it's just a track that suits me well. Really good to see at the top of the times, Aiden. Well done. Thank you very much, Mate.
