Great drive from you, interesting conditions. Go on, you sum that one up for me. Yeah, well, you know, it's it's uh it was uh yeah amazing. You know, we we've we came here with very did we didn't really know what to expect with the car, you know. We came away from Truxton probably with our best result. Well it was our best result, it was our first podium, but the car felt uh a whole heap better, but there were still quite a few issues, and uh you know I genuinely thought coming into this weekend the issues would would would raise a head here. But ultimately, you know, the guys who worked so hard back at Casclean Plato uh racing the last two weeks that we've you know we found a few bits and put them on the car and they're working, so you know it's great.

Um now interesting race because it started in the rain. On the TV feed, it suggested that you were on a soft tire.

Well, definitely wasn't. So we needed to clear that one up for anybody. Maybe that's why we didn't win. I don't know.

Um but it panned out quite well. Uh you had a great battle with uh Gordon and played a critical part after the safety car for the restart.

Yeah, I mean I could see that Ash and um Tom had caught up with uh with with Gordon, and you know, those guys are very, very good in a way anyway, and they're very good here. So I knew we had to put a gap back in between us um to protect Adam, really. You know, I we we lost to Lev Frontier quite early on. You know, uh as it happened, we probably had a little bit stronger pace than Adam right at the end of the race there, but you know what, we just needed to get the cars home one-two, didn't matter which order, and I'm just really really pleased for Adam to take the first win for the team. You've got, among other things, a lot emotionally invested in this team.

What does it mean to you to have the first win and to go out a one-two?

Well, it's very special, isn't it? You know, I I don't know how many other teams their first win came as a one-two. Uh I don't really care. You know, it's a really special feeling for us. Um yeah, you know, it's been you know, it's been 10 months of of hell, really, you know, if I'm if I'm honest with you, because people can't understand the the the time and resource and you know how much you have to dedicate to this, and it's been it's been full on for for a long time now. So it's yeah, reward. You know, it's a shame it didn't happen a bit earlier in the year, but it's always 2027.

Yeah, I mean if it dries out, we're obviously gonna have to run the medium tire because the top three. Um I you know, it looked like it would dry 15 minutes ago, but the rain's coming back in. We might have another wet race, who knows? But you know, uh, if we have another wet race, we'll be in we'll be in good shape. You know, we'll be in very good shape.
