Yeah no it was um uh a good return to the circuit where we got our first win earlier in the season. Um we were struggling a little bit there with the balance to be honest but it seemed to be fast so um we can just make it a little bit more drivable throughout the weekend and we should be able to be a bit more consistently fast.

I've um I've spoken to another couple of drivers and saying that there's some this the fit the track feels very vastly different from one round to the next and whether there's dirt coming onto it or anything. Did you experience any of that?

Yeah, I mean it was uh it felt quite slippery out there from my perspective. Um just doing the track walk yesterday, you could see where they'd laid a lot of um fresh compact dirt down on the inside of the curbs, and obviously touring cars being touring cars, you're always gonna take everything and a little bit more on the inside, so it doesn't take long for that to start getting dragged back on the track, and then obviously inevitably you're gonna lose some grip from that. But I suppose it is the same for everyone, so you can't complain too much.

And this track, does it suit you and your car?

I like to think so, yeah. I mean I generally have always done well around the fast and flowing circuits to which this is. So um I enjoy the technical challenge of combining the fast element of Donnington with the the Melbourne loop as well, which I know uh many don't. So um yeah, I think the car should be should be quick here. It's not too hot this weekend as well. Um we generally go better when the temperatures are down. So good.

Well, uh what how are you feeling now, sort of the business end of the of the season? How are you feeling with sort of your position and and your the rest of the season kind of building up to this point?

I mean I've achieved well I'm achieving two of my goals I set out for the season. You know, we've got a nice lead now in independence, um, just need to make sure we keep finishing races and don't make any stupid mistakes, and we're top six in the overall championship. So I think if we could get another win coming in, uh outright win that is, and and keep checking the other boxes, then then I'll consider it a successful year.
