Well Darrell that's uh a good way to uh kick off this weekend at uh Croft with a P4 and a nice little battle at the end there as well.

Yeah, it was um you know the qualifying race is always exciting not only for us drivers but for for the spectators as well. Uh yeah, got a good launch. Um you know it's always tight here at the first sector, but then got out the first sector, was still still in about seventh, I think, and then um yeah, it kind of kind of calmed down from there. Got had a bit of a battle towards the end as well, and made up my way up to fourth, and then yeah, happy and uh ready to ready to go into tomorrow.

You were doing a little bit of defensive driving, you were coming under some pressure from Tom Ingram, weren't you?

Yeah, it's uh it's uh two-time champ, he knows his stuff, but um yeah, no, we we we fight each other very hard out there, but but fair as well. So there was a bit a little bit of rubbing coming out the um you know, coming out of the chicane, um, and then I was up the inside going into tower, so um you know left each other room, don't think there's anything wrong with that, and uh managed to hold into the position. But he's yeah, he's not if you had to choose someone to be behind you, he's he's not the first one to choose, is he?

Absolutely. Um how how complicated is it to find the the really good lap here at Croft? Because it's a difficult circuit.

It is a difficult circuit. I mean it's the sector one's very uh twisty, technical, quite tight as well, the track. And then it kind of opens up to some high-speed stuff through the woods. Uh Jim Clark S's Barcroft, love that love those series of corners into sunny in, sunny out, honestly, so bumpy and so committed, and then it goes back into a tight, twisty section towards the end to finish the lap. Probably the tightest hairpin in the UK as well to finish the lap. So very difficult, but once uh once you you know, once the lap's done and you know you've you've driven a good lap, then it's you're happy and uh it's rewarding.
