Well Tom, congratulations. What a great way to round off Croft, which is becoming one of your favourite circuits over the past three years, isn't it right?

I think it is. I I don't think I've been to a circuit in the last three years and got a trophy at it every single time I've been, but have at Croft. I got second today, second last year, and uh first the year before. Then there was a bit of a a doldrum in the middle, and I managed to get the first and the third in a weekend at Shred of Wheat at motorbase years ago. So I do like this track inherently. Um I didn't have the pace for the first. I was fastest off the start line, and I think I got the fastest lap of the race. I think Sutton tried to do the fastest lap, but I may have bolt him at the hairpin because that was a lap I wasn't using my Tocker Turbo boost, so he caught me probably quicker than he thought he was going to catch me because um yeah, so it was uh yeah, so I probably got the extra point for that. But um, yeah, I like this uh kit, I like the fans, I like the track. The weather is always unpredictable, which spices things up. But Saturdays always go bad for me for whatever reason. I can't shake the monkey off me. Saturday is always bad. Um, but Sundays are uh getting better. Um but I started from the pit lane in race one, tactical, get rid of the hard tie, and then move forwards to twelfth, then forwards to eighth, reverse group to third, and I'll finish second. So, you know, it was a pretty good, pretty good Sunday, so I'm quite happy with that. And the fact that myself, Ingram, and Collard have all got a trophy today is is great for the team.

I think a lot of your fans were holding their breath in that third race to hope you didn't have that electrical gremlin that you'd had previously.

I actually went into sunny out and got on the power and it died for a split second, and I did think, here we go, it's gonna die, and then it worked again. So it's I just have to keep stroking it and saying I do love you, and then it just about crosses the finish line. But um, yeah, I'm just happy it finished for all the guys because they literally have ripped everything out of it. I've had a whole new engine wire in Louis Mises, everything's new, so it shouldn't go. Um, but uh it's temperamental, the old girl at the moment. I'm not sure why. It's about time you had some good luck though, isn't it?

I mean you've you've I think you've had more than your fair share of bad luck this season.

I have, yeah. I've had bad luck um on and off track, really, and uh it's sad really because um you know I I love racing and I want to I want to do well for all the fans who support me for 26 years in the British touring cars, and sometimes it doesn't go well, like Donington, three of the four races, it just stopped working, which was painful. It really was painful. Um should have got more trophies at Donlington for sure. But um, yeah, the pace is in the car. We do need to find a bit more, particularly up the straights. Um, but that's what I'm worried about Silverstone in two weeks' time. But before that I got Goodwood, Festival's Speed, which I'm really looking forward to.

Uh I'll be racing the Lotus Cortina on the St. Mary's Trophy race and Aston Martin DB4G Lightweight in the Sterling Moss Trophy on the Friday. And the Thursday I'm very lucky to be asked to play cricket with his grace in front of the house on the Thursday. So anyone likes cricket, come and watch me. Sheddon, Huffy, Ingram, my brother Max, and a few other Prio, probably Piero, a whole load of other other legends.
